Hygge: A Beginners Guide to Denmarks Philosophy of Making Everyday Life More Meaningful, Beautiful a

hygge A Beginners' Guide to Denmark's Philosophy

'Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.' - Roald Dahl

To find magic, you do not need to be a sorcerer or magician. As Mr. Dahl says in the quote above, to find magic, you simply just need to believe in magic.

One of the best ways to experience the magic of life is to bring in warmth, happiness, and meaning into your life. When you infuse all these amazing things above into your life and make it worthwhile, only then can you start loving your life. When you love your life, naturally, your life shall be full of magical bliss.

But, how can you infuse warmth, comfort, tranquility, value, and beauty into your life? Is there a way to add these important elements into your everyday life? YES! There is a way: you can achieve all of that by making hygge an integral part of your life.

Hygge is a beautiful Danish concept that allows you to live a worthwhile and fantastic life full of elements such as warmth, comfort, tranquility, value, and beauty.

I think that we can often forget to stop and decide what we actually want, and to assure we experience that. Many even believe that life should be all hustle and bustle and that life must always be difficult. Well, I am among those who feel there is a way to experience the timeless joyful moments in everyday life. With the help of this book, you can do the same!

Some of the things you will learn are:

  • Origins of the Hygge Tradition
  • The Many Benefits of Living A Hyggelig Life
  • Bringing Parts of Hygge Living into Your Life
  • Making Hygge Part of Your Food Choices
  • Bringing the Art of Happiness Into Your Personal Life And Relationships
  • Cozying Up Your Work Life
  • And Much, Much More!

This is intended to be a quick read that you can start to use right away!

This book will help you to take what you learn about the Danish Hygge philosophy and lifestyle, and really incorporate it for yourself. It is immensely important to me that you are able to take away practical knowledge from this book. I myself am always looking for ways to improve myself and my levels of happiness. My journey has been a long one, and every bit of knowledge has helped me along the way. When I stumbled upon the idea of Hygge, it was not quite clear what I was meant to do with it. I didn't quite understand the idea.

But when I really stopped to further understand,I learned that this is a lifestyle change which aims to help you enjoy your life more, and to clear out the things that hinder your sense of enjoyment and fulfillment. I was sold. I decided I wanted to learn more and more about the philosophy, and I also wanted to share good quality information with other people (you, the reader).

I created this book to be among the best books on Hygge here on amazon Kindle. I put a lot of time and thought into its creation, and I . I hope you find it warm, inviting and useful.

Deepest Regards,

Allison Vaughn

5 stars - Hygge means 'cozy' and 'warmth'. Allowing you to combine ...

Hygge means 'cozy' and 'warmth'. Allowing you to combine cozy and warmth into your daily routine. Founder Nikolaj Frederik Serverin Gruntvid started Heygge being a spokesman for the philosophy, and influenced the people in Denmark (Danes) to embrace Hygge into their lives. Focusing more on cozy and warmth than materialism. Hygge is a mixture of things: in food (Cocoa), and candles and cake, making exercise a daily routine, spending time in nature, reading books, and lighting candles in your house. All in all this book is about putting your mind into the right state, following the Hygge philosophy.

5 stars - How to live like the Danes and enjoy a delightful life

Really nice book! Although I live in a tropical country where happiness is more likely synonym of staying in the swimming pool holding a glass of Caipiriña than sitting near a fireplace sipping hot chocolate, I got the idea. As far as I understood, Hygge is kind of like celebrating Christmas all year long. What a fantastic concept!
So, after reading this book, I decided to restyle my house, get rid of some old rubbish and just make it nicer. Sometimes, when we work too much, we lose awareness of what's really important in life. We can make our lives more enjoyable imitating the Danes and their love for beauty, coziness, and real value. Hygge by Allison Vaughn is a lovely well-written book, which everybody could enjoy, and benefit from its spirit.

5 stars - We're all after the same thing: to be happy.

Read this book to discover how the Danes are so good at it...

Whenever lists of the happiest people of the world come out, Denmark always tends to be at the top. At the end of the day our life is a culmination of our moment-to-moment decisions that we make to feel happy. All that we really want is to feel good, and given that the Danes consistently show up as the happiest people in the world, they must be doing something right.

This was the first time I'd ever even heard of Hygge, but giving it a read has really opened my eyes to a realm of possibilities in terms of living a more fulfilled life. Allison does a great job at breaking down what the Hyggelig life is all about. The root of the word, as she explains, actually means cozy, harmonious, peaceful, and happy. When we engage in activities that allow us to feel more of these emotions and feelings, it improves our emotional well-being, strengthens our bonds with others, and overall just improves the quality of our life.

When it comes to actually applying Hygge in our lives Allison recommends that you exercise daily, engage more in activities that you actually enjoy, spend time in nature, read good books, unplug from technology, and do things mindfully. These are all habits that I have made a conscious effort to include in my life without even knowing that Hygge exists. When I tell my friends about how they should do the same, they agree with me, but never actually end up doing it. I guess where the Danes come above in this area is because they actually have a label for it, something to look towards as why they're doing something. I guess that's a major contributor to why they consistently show up as the happiest people in the world.
